Injection molding is a manufacturing technology of manufacturing parts with plastic. Molten plastic is injected into the injection mold under high pressure. The mold is manufactured by the injection mold manufacturer, usually made of steel or aluminum metal, and precision machined to form the shape of the desired parts. Rubber injection molding is a manufacturing process for manufacturing rubber parts. This type of process is very suitable for creating small parts requiring precision or parts suitable for other components. Rubber parts are widely used in various mechanical parts and machines. Rubber injection molding machines are usually found in stamping workshops or manufacturing departments. The basic process used in rubber injection molding is very simple. Moulds made of metal have exact specifications and dimensions of rubber parts. The mold was inserted into the press and connected to the rubber injection system. The press applies pressure to fix the top and bottom of the mold together. Use a large plunger or screw to inject rubber into the mold. Use a nozzle to press heated unvulcanized rubber into the mold cavity. Excess rubber or overflow may occur due to the required force and the need to completely fill the mold. As the rubber cools, it separates from the wall of the mold, while retaining the details and shape of the design. Open the press and release the rubber part. It is important to note that there is no heating element in the rubber injection molding system. Rubber is heated by rubber injection press and the temperature is controlled. The actual mold itself is usually made of stainless steel and is not designed to retain heat. In fact, many designs require the mold to cool quickly, which forces the rubber to cure in a shorter time. There are two different types of dies: horizontal dies and vertical dies. These units have a lot in common, but there are some main differences between the two models. In horizontal machines, robots are usually required to move the mold to another part of the machine and eject the finished product. In a vertical machine, the finished parts just fall into the waiting container. In a vertical system, the rubber loss of each part is less, because the pressure in the injection system must compete with gravity. Many units are designed to include pressing brushes, ejectors and multiple dies. These enhanced functions greatly improve the productivity of the system and reduce the dependence on human intervention in the manufacturing process. Reducing the rubber loss in the process is very important to maintain low cost and reduce waste. Rubber is a natural resource, which is very expensive to obtain and should not be wasted.
